Once you’ve submitted a registration, our Registrations team will begin processing your registration. These processing registrations will have a status. Check your email for correspondence from firstname.lastname@example.org, where we will let you know what potential paper mailings you should be on the lookout for that would be mailed by the state and any other action items you may have.
Depending on the jurisdiction, it can take 10 to 15 business days for the authority to send you the required account information by postal mail. Once you’ve received notice from the state, Anrok’s Registration team will ask you for the account number, webfile number, PIN, or letter ID provided by the jurisdiction.
After you officially register in a jurisdiction, the jurisdiction will move to a status, meaning you must collect sales tax and file with the jurisdiction. See Review completed registrations.
Note: If the best person for Anrok and the state to correspond with is not listed on your Anrok instance, please reach out to email@example.com regarding your preferred contact.
Check a jurisdiction's registration status
You can check on processing jurisdictions in Anrok to see if any next steps are needed or if the jurisdiction's sales tax registration is complete.
Try checking a jurisdiction's registration status in the demo above ☝️
- In the Anrok app , go to Jurisdictions. Take me there!
- Under the Action required tab, check if a jurisdiction with a status has a required action listed under Action.
- Select the Processing tab, then review which jurisdictions are listed with a status.
- Select the Remitting tab, then review if a previously processing jurisdiction now has a status.
If you have any questions about how to check in on processing registrations, feel free to reach out to our Registrations team at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
