Introduction
Once you’ve submitted a registration, our Registrations team will begin processing your registration. These processing registrations will have a status. Check your email for correspondence from registrations@anrok.com, where we will let you know what potential paper mailings you should be on the lookout for that would be mailed by the state and any other action items you may have. When our Registrations team is awaiting documentation from you, the processing registration will move to an status.
Depending on the jurisdiction, it can take 10 to 15 business days for the authority to send you the required account information by postal mail. Once you’ve received notice from the state, Anrok’s Registration team will ask you for the account number, webfile number, PIN, or letter ID provided by the jurisdiction.
After you officially register in a jurisdiction, the jurisdiction will move to a status, meaning you must collect sales tax and file with the jurisdiction. See Review completed registrations.
Note
If the best person for Anrok and the state to correspond with is not listed on your Anrok instance, you can submit this form with your preferred contact information.
Important
Some jurisdictions (e.g., Chicago, IL) require an affidavit indicating the date you started doing business with the jurisdiction. The affidavit does not need to be signed by an officer of the company but must be notarized. We recommend using Notarize for a quick and convenient notarization process. Once complete, please return it to registrations@anrok.com in five business days.
