Overview
Most local home-rule jurisdictions in Colorado have adopted nexus provisions with language stating that if a business has nexus in the state of Colorado, that business also has nexus in that jurisdiction. These jurisdictions have also chosen to permit filing through the centralized Colorado Sales and Use Tax System (SUTS). The full list of jurisdictions is available here.
In line with this, Anrok files Colorado state and all participating local jurisdictions using SUTS. Anrok currently does not support the few jurisdictions that have elected not to file via SUTS. Jurisdictions that do not utilize SUTS also do not adhere to the nexus provisions of the state, meaning physical nexus is required in one of these localities to necessitate a filing obligation. As of 2025, those jurisdictions include Delta and Telluride.
