Overview
This directory serves as your centralized hub for accessing official state tax department resources, ensuring you always have the most current and authoritative information at your fingertips. This resource is particularly important for organizations that need to:
- Update address and contact information — Ensure your company's location and perferred-contact changes are properly recorded with each jurisdiction's tax department.
- Review past and open return filings — Access historical filing records and monitor the status of current tax return submissions. Can additionally assist with cross-checking returns filed by Anrok. See Best practices for reviewing filed returns.
- Review notices, filing frequency updates, and direct messages — Stay informed about important communications from jurisdiction tax authorities regarding your account status, compliance requirements, and any changes to filing procedures.
Jurisdiction tax departments regularly update filing requirements and compliance procedures. We recommend checking the relevant jurisdiction portals regularly to ensure your business remains in good standing. Many jurisdictions also offer email notification services to keep you informed of important updates and deadline reminders.
Important
Anrok does not support regular monitoring of your sales tax account within a jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to keep track of notices, updates, and messages sent to your company through the portal, email, or paper mail, and notify Anrok of any subjects of importance.
Tip
Any login information stored by Anrok can be found on the Jurisdictions page's Remitting tab under the Notes section of the related jurisdiction. If no login information is listed, this means one of the following:
- Third-party account filing — Anrok is currently filing your returns through a third-party account, meaning Anrok did not need to create a sales tax account on your behalf to take over return filing.
- Pre-existing account — The sales tax account was created before onboarding with Anrok, meaning your company would have primary access to the account's login information.
If you don't have the login information for the account or cannot access your sales tax account for various reasons, we recommend that you immediately contact the jurisdiction by phone or email (using the table below) for account access guidance.
Note
Anrok does not provide a service for updating company address or preferred-contact information in-app or on your sales tax accounts. If you have recently updated your business address or contact, you will need to change the company information currently in Anrok, then log into each remitting jurisdiction's sales account to update the information listed.
