Link your bank account

Introduction

Linking your bank account to Anrok is required in order for Anrok to file returns and amendments, make payments for Anrok fees, and more through the Anrok platform. When you link your bank account, Anrok is able to withdraw any owed balances for tax preparation services and deposit any refunds you may receive. 

Having your bank account linked also allows you to seamlessly pay for any additional services, products, or fees through Anrok without needing to manually make payments. Keeping your bank account information up-to-date on your Anrok profile ensures fast and easy facilitation of payments owed to or due from Anrok relating to your taxes.

Add your bank account

The first step of linking your bank account to Anrok will be adding your bank account using Plaid. This process will involve having access to your banking institution’s login credentials and/or account numbers.

Try adding your bank account in the demo above ☝️

  1. In the Anrok app CleanShot 2023-07-20 at 12.02.21@2x.png, go to Settings. Take me there!
  2. Select the Bank account tab, then confirm that you’ve read and agreed to the Terms.
  3. Select Add a bank account, then click Continue.
  4. Choose whether you want to enter your phone number.
  5. Select your institution, then click Continue to login to sign in with your institution credentials. 
  6. If you are unable to sign into your institution, you can scroll down and click Link with account numbers, which will allow Plaid to locate your account using your routing and account number.
  7. Select the account you want to link to Anrok, then click Continue. Please note that a savings account cannot be linked.
  8. Click Authorize to allow Plaid to make a $0.01 verification deposit into your account, which will take about one business day.
  9. When you are finished, click Continue.

 


 

Verify your bank account

Once you’ve added your bank account information to Anrok, it will take Plaid one business day to send your account a $0.01 deposit that starts with a short verification code. Once you have received this deposit, you can use the verification code to verify your account and finalize the bank account link.

  1. In the Anrok app CleanShot 2023-07-20 at 12.02.21@2x.png, go to Settings. Take me there!
  2. Select the Bank account tab, then click Verify account.
  3. Enter the 3-letter code associated with the $0.01 deposit in your account.
  4. Click Continue, then review if the account has been successfully linked to Anrok.
  5. When you are finished, click Continue.
