Sometimes you may have an invoice that doesn't go through your traditional billing channels and needs to be added manually. To manually add a transaction in Anrok, please follow the steps outlined below. It is recommended to take these steps concurrently with issuing the invoice, as Anrok will display the appropriate tax to include on the manually added transaction.
Watch or read below to manually add a transaction:
- Once you're logged in to Anrok, navigate to the Transactions page by clicking it in the navigation bar.
- On the Transactions page, click on the Add transaction button located at the top:
- Enter the following details of the transaction you want to add on the Add transaction page:
- Transaction ID - this can be the transaction ID from a billing system or the invoice ID; however, you prefer to identify this transaction.
- Currency - select from the list of Anok-supported currencies that the transaction is being invoiced in
- Customer - you can choose a customer from your existing list or create a new Customer
- Address - provide the address of the customer
- Product - You can select from your available Anrok Product IDs to add the products charged on your invoice
- Date - input the date of the transaction
- Refund - you can identify whether this transaction is a refund or a sale transaction with the bottom checkbox.
- VAT ID - applicable for sales outside the US if the customer has provided a VRN
4. Once complete, click on the Preview button at the bottom of the page to review and confirm the information you entered is correct. The tax information associated with this transaction will appear on the screen, which you can use for your invoice and be included in your next return.
5. Click on the Add transaction button located at the bottom of the page to save the transaction in Anrok.
