Important note: Make sure to notify Anrok at support@anrok.com if you are creating transactions in your billing system to represent your marketplace sales so we can ensure you are not double reporting any liabilities.
When you sell over a marketplace like AWS, Azure or GCP, the marketplace will handle tax calculation and remittance on your transactions. However, many U.S. jurisdictions still require you to report marketplace gross sales on your returns.
Reporting these numbers is relatively simple. When your returns are ready for review:
- Login to your marketplace accounts and obtain your gross sales report for the period
- Calculate your gross sales amount per filing jurisdiction
- Login to Anrok and navigate to your return ready for review
- Click the ✏️ icon next to “Marketplace gross sales” on your Anrok return
- Enter Gross sales amount per marketplace and hit “Save”
From there, let Anrok handle the rest!
